Abstract:
According to the threefold meaning of rock一paragenesis suggested by the author and based on the material source ,environment and energy- equilibrium, the phosphatie formation in the eastern part of China 560-700 Ma has been div-ided into mono-terrestrial formation.tele-siliceous formation and silice ous shale formation ,all belonging to stable type, substable type and unstable type forma-lions, respectiveli.
THE ABANDONED DELTAS OF THE LUANHE RIVER AND THE BARRIER-LAGOON SEDIMENTARY SYSTEMS
Li Congxian, Chen Gang, Wang Li
1983, 1(2): 60-72.
Abstract:
The distributions of the recent barrier一lagoon coasts are widespread in the world.Offshore barriers and lagoons are interdependent and interact on each other, thus forming unified sedimentary systems. The barrier-lagoon sedimentary systems in the coastal zone from Luanhe river mouth to Caofeidian,Hebei Pro- wince, are of different types and develop at different stages, which provides favourable conditions for the study of the coastal sediments of this kind.
THE DEVONIAN CARBONATITE SEDIMENTARY FACIES IN GU亿HOU PROVINCE

1983, 1(2): 106-117.
Abstract:
The Sichuan Basin is a giant subsidence basin with an area of 157.000km2 on the Yangtzi sub-platform.The basement of the basin is composed the sli-ghtly metamorphic rocks and magmatic rocks of the lower Proterozoic. The covering rocks with a thickness of 5000-11000 m consist of the Sinian一Triassic marine carbonate formation in predominance and the Jurassic一Cretaceous redterrigeenous detrital formation.
RATE OF ACCRETION OF MANGANESE CRUST FROM THE SOUTH CHINA SEA BASIN AND ITS GEOCHEMICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Xia Ming, Zhang Chenhui
1983, 1(2): 131-142.
Abstract:
characteristics of the studied area. Excess 230Th concentrations in the uppermost layer(1mm) of the crust indicate an upper limit of growth rate of 4 .1 mm/l08yr. This rate of accreti一on for the crust is similar to that for 6A nodule sample from the easter part of the Pacific Ocean.Uniform and low rates of the crust growth from the South China Sea and th nodules forom various oceanic basins suggest that a similar controlling mechanism may take place during their formations in the marine environment.
STUDY ON THE APPLICATION OF JGT TYPE LIGHT一PEN IMAGE ANALYSER TO THE DETERM!NATION OF SEDIMENTARY ROCKS
Liu Xiufeng, Li Zhiquan, He Benyuan, Huang Kenan, Yang Yingzhang, Chen Yulin
1983, 1(2): 153-165.
Abstract:
The most difficulty in the determination of sedimentary rocks with lmage Analyser lies in that Gradation Level Automatic Detection may be ineffective for most minerals.

RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ORGANIC GEOCHEMICAL CHARACTERISTICS AND COAL GASIFICATION OF MAIN COAL SPECIES IN ANHUI PROVINCE
Lin Chaolin, Yao Zhiwen, Wu Dcyun
1983, 1(2): 17-30.
Abstract:
Anhui Province is rich in coal resources with great varieties .With a view to exploring the latency of gasified coal accumulation in the coal-bearing basin, stress is laid on the analysis of organic geochemical characteristics of the coal species concerned (Table 1,Figs.1-11) so that the entire process of coal formation is generally divided into four stages.
THE CHENIERS OF THE NORTHERN COASTAL PLAIN OF JIANGSU PROVINCE
Gu Jiayu, Yan Qinshang, Yu Zhiying
1983, 1(2): 47-59.
Abstract:
Four cheniers exist in the northern coastal plain of Jiangsu Province,name-ly the Nest Ridge, the Middle Ridge, the East Ridge and tile dew Ridge in orde from west to east. They run nearly parallel to the present shoreline. The chiea depositional features of the cheniers are as follows.
RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE CHANGES OF OOIDAL TEXTURE AND THE PROPERTY AND STRENGTH OF DIAGENESIS
Wang Yinghua, Yang Chengyun, Zhang Xiulian
1983, 1(2): 73-83.
Abstract:
Oolites are common grains in carbonatites, and their tenure changes arc important indicators in studying the property- and strength of diagenesis. It has been found that splits and deformed oolites formed under compaction, and the sutured tcature and the pressure shadow as }s-ell as recrystallization and dolo- mitiz anon formed under pressure solution are related to the property and st- rength of diagenesis.

GEOLOGICAL MODEL OF PALEOTEMPERATURE AND CALCULATION OF OIL GENERATION PER旧D!N THE BZ AREA
Zhou Zhengyi, Liu Dehan, Sheug Guoying
1983, 1(2): 143-152.
Abstract:
In this paper the paleotemperature in the BZ area of Tarim Basin is studi一ed and its geological model is temperature at lhc end of the made. There was a local thermal alteration at high Paleozoic as a result of a large scale igneous ro-ck intrusion, w hereas the gradients of paleotem peratures of the tum and Cenozoic stratum are lower in this area.Although Mesozoic sira-crude oil from Z一1 well is produced from the lower Carboniferous system, its source rock seems to be middle一upper Carboniferous carbonate distributed in the southern BZ area. The result calculated from TTf value shows that the source roc's Su-tied within 3000-6000 metre deep are still at their main oil一forming stage.
